Congratulations to our football team on making district playoffs for the first time in history!

“I’m as excited as if I were a first year coach, with a first year team, in our first playoffs ever.  That’s how excited I am!” exclaimed Coach Randy Johnson.  “And the kids are even more excited simply because this was one of their goals that they had set at the beginning of the season.  They feel good about themselves.”

The first district playoff game will be held on Friday, November 12, against Westminster Christian Academy. This is only the second year that AES has had a football team, and the football players have already had a strong winning season.

“It’s quite an exciting time, and I know that we are still out there playing football and 30 other people or so have already picked up their equipment,” said Coach Johnson.
