Anna Kate joined Ascension her junior year of highschool. She has enjoyed devoting her time to many Ascension sports teams including Ascension’s varsity Gator Jazz, varsity volleyball, varsity cross country, soccer, tennis, and track. She has also participated in Astronomy Club, Ukulele Club, Beta Club, National Honor Society, National English Honors Society, and Rho Kappa. Out of all the many activities that she has participated in, Anna Kate says that volleyball has been her favorite because, “I have never had a more supportive or encouraging team or coach than this one, and they all made me feel as if I have been playing with them for years.”

Anna Kate is undecided of her major and minor, but knows she will be attending SMU. She has however decided that she would like to be in the field of business or pre-law while being a part of ROTC. She plans on entering the Air Force using her ROTC training following her undergrad. Anna Kate is known for her love of dogs, her kind spirit, and radiating positivity.
