Favorite Ascension Memory: I have a lot of favorites but my top two would have to be the NYC trip junior year and getting four square banned for the whole year in fourth grade because I refused to get out. The second one I’m really sorry about because I was definitely out.

Future Plans: Go to college and major in psychology and then go to law school in addition to publishing a novel or two

Alyssa Wilson lived in Kentucky until she was five and used to go to horse races on the weekends at ChurchHill Downs. She also had ghosts her house. Some advice Alyssa would give to the underclassmen is to have fun, be nice, and don’t forget to fill out your CSS profile. Something she would change about Ascension would be to eliminate the double standards in dress codes and allow girls to wear leggings, without shorts on top, on free dress days. If Alyssa could travel to one place in the world, she would travel to Greece. She believes that hand sanitizer is the greatest invention of all time! Her favorite candy is York Peppermint Patties. Alyssa’s favorite quote is “You’re tacky and I hate you” from School of Rock. This is her favorite quote because it’s applicable in almost all situations. Her favorite movie is Little Miss Sunshine because it’s hilarious and sad at the same time, and leaves you feeling a little more whole after watching it. One of the things that Alyssa has on her bucket list is to appear on a reality TV show, and if that doesn’t happen, go skydiving. Alyssa is still unsure of where she wants to attend college; however, she knows she wants to major in psychology.
