Favorite Ascension Memory: “Being vegan for nearly two years, only to break it in the school parking lot with a Chick-fil-a sandwich.” 

Future Plans: Studying English and cinematography in college, then starting a career as either an English professor, author, or video editor. 

If you didn’t already know, Emma is a part of CYT Lafayette’s Improvisation “Improv” Team. In 2018, she went to the National Improvathon in San Diego with the team. Not only is she a member of the Improv team, but she was also voted All-Star and last year’s team captain. The Improv team placed 4th last at Improvathon and Emma is hoping to go all the way this year! She has also performed in an amazing twelve musicals for CYT and Ascension. Her favorite roles to play were Peter Pan in Peter Pan and being a plate in Beauty and the Beast. 

An interesting fact about Emma, she said, “I’ve moved 13 times! Is it because my dad’s a builder, or is it really because I’m a fugitive on the run from the law? You’ll never know… “ So, if your pencil goes missing you know who to track down. She can also solve a Rubik’s cube in one minute — impressive! A major thing Emma has done here at Ascension is founding the joyous evening called, Open Mic Night. Open Mic Night is a night for anyone and everyone to share their artistic talents: poetry, songwriting, singing, dancing, anything! People are allowed to share their love and talents now because of Emma.
