Senior Spotlight: Morgan Curtis
Name: Morgan Curtis
Grade started at Ascension: Pre-K 4
Favorite teacher at Ascension? Morgan says her favorite teacher is Mrs. Guidry because “she always pushes her students to go further with what they create while still supporting their original ideas.” She explains that Ms. Guidry “is always so enthusiastic, which creates a positive environment for students to work in.”
What are your future goals? Morgan admits that she is not sure what she wants to do at the moment but she says “I hope to figure out what the heck I’m going to do with my life after I get out of college.”
What are some of your favorite extracurricular activities? Morgan has enjoyed dancing for Gator Jazz during school and at River Dance outside of school. She has also taken art throughout high school and says she enjoys making art in her free time.
What accomplishments are you most proud of? Morgan says, “I’m really proud of not failing 4th quarter (yet) despite my incredibly low motivation to do any work.” She is also proud of herself for participating in The Phantom of The Opera. She reveals that it was something that was very out of her comfort zone.
What advice would you offer to future seniors? Morgan says, “Enjoy being around your other classmates while you can because you won’t see them for much longer”.
