Senior Spotlight: Jacob Anderson
Name: Jacob Anderson
Grade started at Ascension: 7th grade
Favorite teacher at Ascension: Mrs. Chiasson because she “gives us ample time to work on projects and makes sure we understand the material.”
Future plans: Jacob plans on attending UL in the fall and majoring in computer science and business. He is hoping to work as a developer or in the Cybersecurity industry.

His role models: Elon Musk because “he is just an all around bad*ss” and Jeff Bezos because “he showed me that taking risks is a necessity to succeed in the business world.”
His nicknames: “Andy” (NOT to be confused with Andrew Hebert) & “Jacobo,” which is the name given to him by Señora Garcia in 7th grade.
His favorite music artists: Logic, Stickfigure, Slightly Stoopid, Pouya, and J.I.D
His favorite Ascension memory: Knocking over a pot at Morgan Curtis’s freshmen homecoming dinner while attempting to perform a magic trick (and I have to admit this is one of my personal favorites as well).
What motivates him: “Making today better than yesterday”
When asked, if you could be one celebrity, who would you be and why? Jacob’s response was: “Why would you want to be someone else?”
