Favorite teacher(s) at Ascension: Mrs. Walker because her faith is so inspiring, and she is constantly encouraging me and pushing me to do my personal best, and Mrs. Lad because she always makes me laugh and never fails to remind me to “let it go!”

Future plans: Madeleine plans on attending LSU and majoring in Kinesiology

Her role model: Her sister because “she is such an amazing woman of God who constantly has a smile on her face no matter the situation.” (If you haven’t already figured out that Madeleine is the sweetest person on the planet, then here you go.)

Her favorite pastimes: She enjoys playing music and spending time with her friends and family.

Her nicknames: Mattie, Mad-dawg, Lil Thibs, and “literally anything containing my last name.”

When I asked one thing no one knows about her, she said: “I’m a pretty open book, but not many people know that I want to build my own house and live on a farm in Texas in my later life.” 

If you could be one celebrity, who would you be and why? “Carrie Underwood because, well, I think it’s obvious… she’s actual perfection.”
