Gator Jazz had an incredible time at DTU Nationals! They have worked so hard since the beginning of the school year practicing these dances! On day one, the girls arrived in Orlando, ready to compete! The next day, they woke up early and had their annual practice at Studio K. After that, we went to the competition to watch our amazing soloists Molly and Isabella compete. That night, Isabella Malespin placed 4th out of 120 and was a Junior Solo Finalist, and Molly Cormier was a Senior Solo Semifinalist placing 27th out of 180. They also competed in Game Day for the first time ever in school history and received the title of NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! The next two days, they competed in the classic Jazz and Pom divisions. They made it straight to the finals for both dances and received 4th overall in each division! They ended their time in Orlando in Hollywood Studios and had the best time. This weekend was so unforgettable, and they were so thankful to spend this time together!
