Hey guys, this week I asked multiple seniors what they are excited about for the year! Here were some of their responses.

Christian: “I am extremely excited for my senior year! I am excited, especially for the senior privileges such as the new study hall rule. I am looking forward to playing basketball, football, and to also run track. I am especially excited for homecoming week because of the school spirit and for the homecoming football game. A senior tradition that I am pumped for is senior dress up week. Once I leave Ascension I will reminisce on the laid back atmosphere and the good memories with my buddies.”

Sarah: “I am super excited for senior year! I am most excited for the senior trip and powderpuff. Also, I am excited to lead the cheer team alongside my fellow cheer seniors. I am going to miss Aubrey, Emmy and Laura-Anne the most. But I also can’t wait to graduate and start a new chapter of my life.”

Trey Daly: “I am stoked for this year! I am excited about being able to go get lunch off campus in the second semester. I’m super excited for golf season and traveling with the team to all of the tournaments. I also can’t wait to go to UL for science day! Graduation will be a great experience that I will be anticipating for this whole year. I am going to miss all the buddies I have at Ascension.”

Samantha: “I am so eager for this year. I am most excited for one last Gator Jazz national season with my best friends. I am very thankful for the senior lunch privilege because I can leave during lunch and go get coffee with my friends in the middle of the day. This year I made the goal to make the most out of every school event and participate in everything to make great memories. When I leave I will definitely miss seeing my friends every day and all the close community events our school puts on.”

Zain: “Yo guys I’m Zain, and I am jumping up and down in joy for this year! I am especially happy about the new senior study hall privilege to check in late in the morning and check out early in the afternoon. My goal for the year is to make the most of it. I am very excited for many senior traditions such as, throwing our papers on the balcony and Last Hurrah. For all the time I’ve been here I have especially loved the tight-knit community and small classes. Once I finish my time at this exquisite place I will miss the cool people at this school.”

Addison: “I am very excited for this year! I am so happy to be able to arrive late and leave early for study hall. I am ready for the fun senior basketball season to come! I think that powderpuff will be very fun this year. As a prefect, I will definitely enjoy helping plan student life games. My favorite thing about high school was the bond that the basketball team had and how much fun we had together. I will definitely be missing my friends once I leave.”
