August 27, 2024 marked the yearly honor book signing tradition for this school year. Each prefect shared what honor truly means in their areas of leadership. Beau Domengeaux shared the meaning of honor in academics: to stay truthful and honest on tests and in the classroom. Molly Cormier explained the importance of honor in our own personal spiritual lives. Noah Trawkick, as the student life prefect, took a different approach by explaining what honor means in our lives and what it means to live an honorable life. Addison Mills talked about honor in athletics by emphasizing responsibility and dedication. She explains that honor in your sport goes beyond just games and competition. Amir Balbeisi explained the importance of being honorable on social media. Since we are all representing Ascension, we must be responsible in what we post. Laura Anne explained how big of a role bravery plays in the arts! Preston said we should serve just like Jesus did because there is honor in serving others. And lastly, our lead prefect Annie Boudreaux told us what it means to be a leader!
After each prefect shared their speech, new facility members and students got the opportunity to sign the Ascension Episcopal Honor book. It was such a special day and it is an honor to be a Blue Gator!
