Every spring, Ascension’s theater program puts on a musical to showcase their hard work throughout the year. The spring musical means so much to every cast member, but this year’s production holds an extra weight. This year’s production of Bye Bye Birdie will be our director’s last. 

Mr. McClymont has been directing Ascension’s shows for years and his vision for each show has made them unforgettable experiences. Through his commitment and enthusiasm, Mr. M has shaped the lives of countless actors. From auditions to curtain call, he has helped to instill in his performers the values of purpose, pride, and perseverance. 

So, Mr. McClymont, we bid you farewell with heavy hearts and immense gratitude. You’ve created a safe haven where students can express themselves freely, celebrate their differences, and discover talents they never knew they had. Thank you for the endless snacks and open door. You will be missed.
