The Gator Jazz team had so much fun this past Sunday at regionals. They have been working so hard over the Christmas break to show off their talents at Live Oak High School. They received 2nd for the Small Varsity Jazz Category and 3rd Overall Varsity Pom. Our team loved performing in their beautiful new pom uniforms. Some of our team members also chose to compete in the DTU solo competition. Avery Blanchard and Isabella Malespin (3rd place) competed in the junior solo category while Molly Cormier and Claire Reddick (5th place) competed in the senior category. The team loved supporting their friends from all of the other schools. Overall, we had such a fun time competing at this competition, and we can’t wait to see what nationals brings us!

Hi everyone! My name is Claire Reddick, and I am a junior at Ascension. I've been at Ascension for nine years, and this is my first year in journalism. I’ve been on the Gator Jazz team for four years, and I am the team coordinator. I have previously been in clubs like Cupcakes for Causes and SADD. In my free time I love to dance and be with my friends. I am so excited for my first year in journalism!
