Last week, half of our juniors went around the south to tour eight colleges. We started off our trip by touring Tulane. This school had amazing new buildings and a really good academic program. After Tulane, we headed across the street to Loyola which was a unique school with a lot of diversity. After our tour, we drove all the way to Oxford and spent the night in Oxford Square.
When we woke up, we toured the beautiful campus of Ole Miss. We had so much fun looking through the classrooms and seeing the amazing student life activities. Right after that we headed over to Rhodes, all the way in Memphis. We loved seeing their beautiful campus and the academics they had to offer. After that we went downtown in Memphis to eat. We had so much fun! We checked in at the Graceland hotel and saw Elvis performances and had fun at the pb & j bar.
When we woke up we departed for Starkville, Mississippi to tour Mississippi State. This school had an amazing dining hall and amazing academic opportunities. We then traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to tour the University of Alabama. This school was very put together and told us about the campus history. We then checked in at the Auburn hotel and ate dinner at the Heyday Market Food Hall which was so much fun! In the morning we toured Auburn. The environment of the campus was lovely, and their Starbucks was the best. Lastly, we toured Spring Hill where we saw their amazing art program and their small class sizes.
I had so much fun learning about all of these colleges!
