Being such a public figure, especially due to the success of her recent tour, all eyes have been on Taylor Swift’s love life for the past months. After the release of her album Midnights in October, questions were raised about her relationship with her then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. With songs like “Lavender Haze,” “Sweet Nothing,” and “Paris” hinting at their desire to keep their relationship private, Swift quickly emerged on fans’ radars when news sources began to announce that the couple had broken up.
Although Swift had never announced whether this was true or not explicitly, fans began to catch on when Alwyn was never seen attending her Eras Tour, or when she supposedly lacked emotion while singing songs she had written about him. Soon after, it seemed to the public that Swift had a new boyfriend: The 1975 lead singer Matty Healy. Fans did not take well to this, however, and Swift was under fire for months. She was seen leaving various places with him, and he was spotted both performing with the openers of her show and in the VIP tent in the audience.
These rumors quickly came to a close when Swift was no longer spotted with the singer. Instead, just a couple of weeks ago, a viral video emerged of Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, reporting that he attended the Eras Tour. He said in an interview, “I was a little [hurt] I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her…I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it”.
This quotation alone started a few dating rumors which were all lighthearted in nature. However, just on September 24th, Taylor Swift attended a Chiefs game and sat next to Kelce’s mother. She was seen cheering for Kelce and other members of the team, and some football fans reported that Kelce was acting more subdued than he normally does. Other team members reported being nervous that Swift was in attendance, such as quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The couple was seen leaving the game together as well as attending a post-game party, and it is rumored that Swift will be attending Kelce’s next game as well. Although nothing has been confirmed, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s supporters are watching eagerly to see what will happen next and how their relationship will develop.
