This year the student body’s motto is “Inspired to Serve”, which is exactly what they have begun to do.

AES had a school supply drive to help out less fortunate schools in the Youngsville area.

For the first two weeks of school, boxes were placed in each classroom, and as the students came in with more and more supplies, the boxes kept filling up.

Students collected a total 10 boxes full of supplies.  According to Mrs. Arabie, the outcome of the school supplies drive exceeded efforts in years past.

“You guys did a great job,” said Mrs. Arabie.

These supplies will go to unfortunate children in the Youngsville area to help them excel with a better education.
