The Color Run is an event put on by the Ascension Booster Club where grades pre-K 3 through 12th are given the opportunity to run a mile while having colored powder thrown on them. The Booster Club puts on the Color Run to raise money for the middle school and upper school athletic programs. This is the one Ascension event where all grades, from all campuses, can come together and just have fun. Additionally, there are plenty of other things for you to do if you’re not running! You can choose to face paint, pass out water, or throw powder on others, all for service hours. This is a fun Ascension event that most people look forward to. We even get a half day of school because of this! The event lasts from 1-2:30 p.m. I hope to see everyone out there next year!
