The Arts Fest took place Friday, March 14! It was led by Laura Anne Franques and Lauren Roth, and it went from 1-3 p.m. so there was a half day at school. There were many activities like rock painting, face painting, making flower bouquets and stress balls, and there was also bubbles and volleyball. You were able to keep everything you made! Lauren Roth, one of the people who helped put on the arts fest, said, “Arts fest is our favorite Ascension event because we get to be outside during the pretty spring months and enjoy fun unstructured activities.” The Arts Fest was so much fun, and everyone should definitely show up next year—it was a nice way for the community to come together and celebrate the importance of art and creativity!
