What God Says About Fear

Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Fear always looms over our heads. Fear of the uncertain can consume you, leaving you unable to enjoy life every day, but God does not want us to live in fear. The Bible says do not fear 365 times. This means that we have no reason to fear each day of the year. When scared, remember that God is with you. He is all powerful and wants to help us. He will give us the strength to face our fears head on. If God is for us then who can be against us.

Hey guys!! My name is Annie Boudreaux, and this is my first semester ever in Journalism. I am a senior and have attended Ascension for about 14 years. Being at this school for such a long time has allowed me to form genuine love for it and for the people here. I am able to express this love by creating fun events for this school as lead prefect. I am also in multiple sports such as varsity swim, track, and competitive cheer. Some of my hobbies outside of school include baking, reading, arts and crafts, hanging out with friends, and reading my Bible. Maybe being part of this class will allow me to find a new hobby and love for writing as well!!
