Our community has had a snow week! Schools were closed because of a major snowstorm during the week of January 20th through the 27th. It was very unexpected for such a phenomenon to happen in Lafayette, Louisiana, but it did! Most students enjoyed playing in the snow such as myself. The temperatures went down into the single digits at night time. The amount of snow was also very unexpected but most truly enjoyed the week off to relax and play in the snow. What a great winter wonderland of a week! Sarah Camel said she enjoyed her snow days. She said she spent her days with Hayden Person and me. She made snow angels, cones, and towers, and participated in a snowball fight. Sarah says, “ Thank you Jesus for the miracle of snow!”.
