Earlier this week was the long awaited Ascension Episcopal School Blue Gators versus the Episcopal School of Acadiana Falcons soccer match. After coming from a 3-0 victory over David Thibodaux shortly before, the boys were rolling into this banterful bout. The boys knew the expectations that were set on them to take down this opponent. The Gators entered the game heavy, putting ultimate pressure on the Falcons. The roaring of the large crowd boosted the morale and spirits of the athletes. And soon enough, the spectators could tell which team was superior when the score went from 1-0 to 2-0 to 3-0, thanks to Hudson Campbell, Gian Llopis, and Garrett Yeates. The Big Blue were able to finish in styling fashion taking down the Falcons after a long drought and making history.

My name is Charlie Bradley, and I am a senior at Ascension. I have been attending Ascension since the second grade after moving from Chicago, Illinois to Lafayette, Louisiana. I have been enjoying this school and its community ever since I arrived. I play soccer and tennis, and I like to workout in my free time. I love Ascension because it has such an inclusive environment and keeps the school activities fun. I am very excited to play my favorite sports and be able to document them down to put on Authored Ascension.
