The 2024-2025 boys soccer season is upon us! The much awaited, triumphant Blue Gators have taken the field three times so far. December 3rd was our first game versus Erath, and we pulled through with a 3-0 victory! This was the perfect way to stir up the beginning of a once in a lifetime season! Later that same week, on Friday, we opened up our first home game versus the Southside Sharks, beating them 2-1. From these wins we knew what kind of a team we were and that our hard work and dedication will pay off. Our third and latest game was earlier this week on Tuesday, where the boys traveled to Acadiana to take on the Rushing Rams. The Gators were able to take down the opposition, beating Acadiana 1-0. Following that match was… THE Ascension Blue Gators Junior Varsity debut! The stellar soccer stars were able to dominate the pitch, and they were able to find a way for the best goalkeeper in Division IV soccer, Les Schouest, to score and win the game 1-0! Two wins in one night, a phenomenal case of serious soccer splendor! Next up for the Big Blue is the first tournament of the season. The boys are set to travel to Baton Rouge this weekend and will hopefully continue their undefeated streak, going into district and beyond!
