Favorite Ascension memory: When Isabel and I were at an Ascension football game and the Nirvana song “Smells like Teen Spirit” started playing, and I went, “Oh! Smells like Teen spirit!” and Isabel sniffed the air

Future plans: Chemical Engineering

Alexa Kidder is a senior at Ascension, and she is a member of Beta, Mu Alpha Theta, Science & History National Honor Society, National Honor Society, and the Health Occupations Students of America Club. Outside of school, she enjoys playing guitar and drums at the School of Rock, and working out. Her favorite thing about Ascension is the amount of freedom the students have and that she has been able to develop close friendships since she has grown up with many of her classmates. She would describe herself as hardworking, determined, and unique, and some fun facts about her are that she is missing two teeth, and she is Italian. Her advice to younger students is “Be yourself. It’ll help you find who you want to be your close friends and help with self-confidence by being true to who you are.”
