Whit Weeks plays linebacker for LSU football, and he is currently a sophomore. The LSU Tigers have a record of 6-2, losing to USC in week 1 and most recently Texas A&M. Whit Weeks has had an immense impact on LSU, leading the team in tackles this year. His previous year’s stats were outstanding for a freshman, having 50 total tackles, even though he did not play much. Not only does Whit Weeks lead his team in tackles, he leads his entire division, the SEC, in tackles. Weeks has also been nicknamed “Sunshine” by his teammates for his long golden hair. His recent play in Week 7 against the Arkansas Razorbacks went viral after he swatted the ball into the air and made a diving catch for the interception. LSU was only winning 16-10, and this interception in Arkansas’ red zone lead to LSU scoring again, sealing the game in the third quarter.
