Senior Spotlight: Sarah Camel

Name: Sarah Camel 

Grade started: Mid-sophomore year 

Favorite teacher: Mrs. Garcia 

Favorite Ascension memory: Junior year Powderpuff

Future plans: She would like to attend either UL or LSU and major in Radiology Imaging 

 

 

 At Ascension, Sarah is involved in Cheerleading, Basketball, SADD, and the Mental Health Club. In her free time, she enjoys sleeping, eating pickles, and playing with her cats. Her favorite thing about Ascension is all of the fun events that leadership and the school put on for us. If she could define herself in three words, she would choose passionate, understanding, and straightforward. A fun fact about her is that she has 2 half siblings, a boy and a girl. When asked what advice she would give to younger students, she said, “Make friends with everyone because you never know who could be your new best friend.” Lastly, she said shoutout to CC Perry for the best interview ever!

Hey y'all! My name is CC, and I am a junior this year. This is my second year in journalism and I'm so excited to continue writing and creating the yearbook. So far at Ascension, I've been involved in volleyball and cheer. My favorite thing about Ascension is how nice all of the students and teachers are. Outside of school, I love spending time with my friends, cheering, and shopping. I’m so excited to be returning to journalism and I can't wait to see what this year has in store!!
