Name: Annie Boudreaux
Grade started: Pre-K 4
Favorite teacher: Ms. Chelsie Guidry
Favorite Ascension memory: My favorite Ascension memory was cheer tryouts with Bella because she tried to do a back handspring (even though she did not have one), and she landed on her back. I then began hysterically laughing the whole time, and Bella was hysterically crying, all while performing in front of the judges.
Future plans: She is undecided about which college she wants to attend and the major she wants to pursue, but she is deciding between Louisiana Tech and LSU, and for her major, she knows she wants to go into something medical. Still, she doesn’t know what area of the medical field.
Annie has been at Ascension since Pre-K4. She is involved in swimming, basketball, track, and competitive cheer. She is also the Lead Prefect. She likes baking, shopping, reading the Bible, and hanging out with friends and family. Her favorite thing about Ascension is how she can get involved in so many different things and that it is such a tight-knit community. Determined, kind, and trustworthy are the three words that she would use to define herself. One fun fact about Annie is that she had both of her ear drums replaced. Annie’s advice to new Ascension students is “just be yourself and get involved!!” Lastly, she hopes everyone learns to love Ascension as much as she loves this school because it truly is a special school!!
