Coach Scott McCullough teaches American History and is also a monitor for Study Hall. He has been a coach and a teacher for 48 years and has been at Ascension for 12 years. Coach McCullough would describe his summer as “too quick” but was filled with joy over how many times he got to go to his camp. Coach McCullough mainly looks forward to football and baseball season and returning to the competitive spirit! He also says his favorite Ascension event is Prom! Coach McCullough says his favorite lessons to teach in American History are about the Civil War, the Vietnam War, and World Wars I, and II. He says the wars interest him more because he likes to educate everyone about the history of America. Coach McCullough says that his students keep him motivated throughout the school year and that they keep him young! To conclude, Coach McCullough says his time at Ascension has been great, outstanding, and fantastic!

Hi everyone! My name is Ellie Babineaux, and I am a senior at Ascension. I have been at Ascension for 5 years now. I was on the Varsity dance team for Ascension for 3 years and have also participated in Cupcakes for Causes, SADD, and Bird Club. In my free time, I love to dance and hang out with my friends and family. I am so excited for this year in journalism!
