Mrs. Courtney Robert is the Director of Student Life and is in charge of the Leadership team with some 10th graders, but mainly 11th and 12th graders. Mrs. Robert’s describes her summer as short, but she was happy to be able to travel to Holly Beach to go crabbing. Mrs. Robert has been teaching for nearly 30 years and has been at Ascension for 8 years. Mrs. Robert is excited for this school year and her favorite Ascension events that she is looking forward to are the Chili Cook-Off and the Academic Pep Rally. Mrs. Robert says that she enjoys her job, and her students keep her motivated throughout the year. Mrs. Robert’s favorite thing about directing Student Life is being able to watch students come up with great ideas and getting to see the final product. She says that she is always very proud of them!
