Rubens has been a part of the Ascension soccer team since his junior year. In his free time, he likes to play some more soccer and pickleball as he says that, “It is the funnest sport ever!” His favorite thing about the school is the friendly community. Rubens and his peers agree that he can be described in no other three words than nonchalant, charismatic, and athletic. Rubens loves to flex that he travels around the world and has seen so many amazing countries. The advice Rubens gives to the younger students is, “to do whatever makes you happy.” He is unsure of where he wants to attend college, but he would love to live in Italy when he is older. A fun fact about Rubens is that he is from Venezuela. His favorite food is hibachi!
