Ellie West is super excited to spend her last year of high school with the amazing seniors at Ascension! Ellie loves the arts and enjoys writing fiction, reading, painting, drawing, playing guitar, producing music, and singing. She collects CDs and vinyls, and this past summer she worked as a runway model! She is currently the Editor-in-Chief for the yearbook and Authored Ascension, and she is the President of Beta Club. Ellie plans to try soccer this year and perform in our school’s theater productions, as she has always loved to do. To describe herself in three words, Ellie chooses creative, ambitious, and passionate. Ellie loves the unique culture at Ascension and describes her life at our school as feeling like a Disney Channel high school movie because of the fun events and the comfort everyone feels with each other. A piece of advice Ellie would like to give to rising high schoolers is to be yourself and find people who love you for who you are! It is important to make long-lasting friendships with people who will accept you no matter what. Ellie can’t wait to see what amazing things everyone at Ascension will achieve!
