Future Plans: He is committed to the University of Lafayette Louisiana for golf, with the intent of one day becoming a professional. 

Ben Blanco has been attending Ascension for 3 ½ years. He has been a part of the Ascension golf and soccer teams. He has also been a member of the Poker, Gaming, and Fitness Clubs. His favorite part about Ascension is the freedom and how funny everyone is. Ben says, “I’ve enjoyed my time as a Blue Gator, and I hope everyone has the same experience as me!” He is excited to savor his senior year and to participate in school events. Some things Ben enjoys are working out, playing golf, and hanging out with Ellie Babineaux. Ben would describe himself in three words as being ambitious, comical, and confident. A fun fact about Ben is he can solve a rubix cube in 30 seconds! Ben’s advice to underclassmen is, “Shoot for the stars and be confident!”
