Grade started: PreK3

Favorite teacher: Mrs. Fauber 

Favorite Ascension memory: Winning state with Brooke Gill our eighth grade year for swimming 

Future plans: To attend LSU and become a medical sales rep 

While at Ascension, Layne has been involved in Swimming, Ambassador, Cupcakes for Causes, and SADD. In her free time, she loves watching Our Planet. Her favorite thing about Ascension is the support that we get from all of our teachers. If she could define herself in three words, they would be charismatic, honest, and open minded. A fun fact about herself is that she hates chocolate and always has. If she could give advice to younger students, she would say that it all works out in the end!

Hey y'all! My name is CC, and I am a junior this year. This is my second year in journalism and I'm so excited to continue writing and creating the yearbook. So far at Ascension, I've been involved in volleyball and cheer. My favorite thing about Ascension is how nice all of the students and teachers are. Outside of school, I love spending time with my friends, cheering, and shopping. I’m so excited to be returning to journalism and I can't wait to see what this year has in store!!
