This year’s theme for the Back to School Bash was Y2K! Every grade, 8th to 12th, gathered on Friday night, the third day of school, for a fun and magical night. Leadership stayed after school to prepare and decorate the gym and foyer for the night. There were butterflies on the door, candy, and tablecloths on the tables, and water and drinks for everyone. We had the same DJ from past dances, DJ Lawson, and we all had so much fun dancing to his music. He played top hits, good oldies, and line dances like the Bunny Hop. The dance lasted two hours, starting at 8 PM and ending at 10 PM. This was a great way to start the new year!
