The Color Run is an event in which students run a mile while being covered in colored flour. The attendance rate was high and everyone had a great time. All campuses met at the SMP location to have a fun day of hanging out, eating burgers, and running the course while covered in a variety of colors! There were several raffle ticket winners at the end of the event, ranging from free dress days to gift cards! I asked the Journalism Seniors what their thoughts on the Color Run were:
Coco: “I volunteered at the Color Run because I knew it was going to be fun! It was a blast! There was a lot of energy, and it was neat to see all the campuses come together.”
Camille: “I thought that it was a great idea, and it was fun to see everyone participating! Good time!”
Gabby: “It was really fun! Unfortunately, I am unable to run, but I was able to walk the course. It was really nice to see everyone together having a great time!”
Gabriela: “I had a fun time, and I would do it again if I had the chance! I even won one of the raffles! I hope this continues to be a fun tradition here at Ascension.”
