Favorite Teacher: Mr. Shome Dasgupta because he gives off good vibes, and I enjoyed having his class. Mason says, “He’s a cool dude who I wish could have taught me every year.”

Favorite Ascension Memory: Hanging out and eating chili with friends at the chili cook-off

Future Plans: To pursue architecture at LSU

Mason McKnight has been very involved at Ascension. During his time at Ascension, he has been involved in basketball and cross country. Mason says that the three words that describe him are “open minded, empathetic, and adventurous.” Mason enjoys hanging out with his friends and hanging out with his two dogs in his free time. He says his favorite thing about Ascension is “the ability to escape campus for the half hour I’m allowed to go to lunch.” Some interesting facts about Mason are that he likes all kinds of music especially rock and that he likes to ride bikes.
