Preston Peebles is a sophomore at Ascension. He has lettered in football and baseball since his freshman year and has been awarded 2nd team all district linebacker and 1st team all district 2nd baseman during his sophomore year. Preston says that his biggest inspiration is his older brother Peyton who has taught him everything that he knows in sports and in academics. Peyton has helped his younger brother by inspiring Preston to be as good as him. Peyton has also taught him how to do things the right way and how everything hard in life takes time and there are no shortcuts to success. Preston’s most inspirational coach is Coach Lonny. Coach Lonny has been coaching Preston since he was in 7th grade and has shown him how to be a man, a good teammate, and a good player. Coach, every day, teaches Preston how sports and academics relate to real life and how you should not take anything for granted.
