Meet the Ahrabi sisters! Ava Ahrabi (senior), Gabby Ahrabi (sophomore), and Sara Ahrabi (ocho) are a trio here at Ascension Episcopal School. Ava describes a day in their life as the following: the day starts bright and early at 5AM, and they head to their PT session at 6:30. The Ahrabis then head to SMP where they participate in many creative electives and rigorous AP classes from 8AM-3PM. However, their day at Ascension doesn’t simply end at 3 PM. After school, the Ahrabis have their pre-game meals and head to the court for a basketball game against Catholic high. After the basketball game, the Ahrabis then go to Teurlings for a soccer game. Finally, they enjoy dinner at about 10:30PM.
The Ahrabis not only excel in multiple sports (including track, basketball, swim, soccer, softball, and more), but they also share an unbreakable bond. Behind their success are their amazing parents who organize team meals, bring heaters to cold games, film, and support their endless athletic endeavors. Last but not least, let’s not forget about their younger brother, Berto, who is also a 5th grader at Ascension and following in his sisters athletic footsteps while constantly supporting his sisters on the sidelines of every soccer game, as a ball boy. Together, this family showcases the true meaning of teamwork, support and generosity.
