Senior Spotlight – Aidan Stewart

Favorite teacher: Reverend Kennedy

Favorite Ascension memory: Homecoming Concert

Future plans: Go to UT Austin and study Psychology

 

Aidan Stewart, an Alpha Omega, is a senior at Ascension this year. He describes himself as exquisite, whimsical, and hirsute. Aidan is musically inclined and has a special talent for the guitar. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and playing instruments. He annually participates in Ascension’s Homecoming Concert—a favorite Ascension memory of his—and plays guitar in a band. As a member of this band, Aidan performs at local festivals and recently released an EP (a short album) on Spotify called Amelie Cecile. Aidan loves the fun environment and sense of community at Ascension and has been a member of the Tennis, Chess, and Film Analysis clubs. When asked for a piece of advice, Aidan reminds younger students not to let anyone else bring them down.

Hey guys! My name is Martha, and I am a junior this year. I’m a member of the girls' soccer team at Ascension and have a passion for the arts. I participate in many of our school's plays, musicals, and concerts. Outside of school, I train in classical ballet at The Ballet Studio (but coach McCullough thinks I dance for the Russians). I love to write and am so excited to be a part of journalism again this year!
