Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Futch because she makes learning science even more fun than it already is! And she can answer any question in the world about anything science-related!

Favorite Ascension Memory: Homecoming week because I love seeing my grade come together and show our school spirit.

Future Plans: I plan to attend LSU, major in Pre-Med, and become a pediatrician.

Sara has been involved in varsity cross country for 5 years, and varsity indoor and outdoor track for 5 years. She is also the senior community service class leader and the Vice President of the first Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Club at Ascension. In her free time, she likes to hang out with my friends and family, and spend time outside. Sara’s favorite thing about Ascension is that we are like one big family where everybody knows everybody. If she could define herself in three words, she would choose happy, thoughtful, and dedicated. A fun fact about herself is that she loves fruit, and would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if she could! A piece of advice that she would give to younger students is to live in the moment and make the most of your time in high school because it truly does fly by so quickly.
