While at Ascension, Ava has been involved in National English Honors Society, Science National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, National Honors Society, Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Track, Cheer, Swim, Tennis, Cross Country, Younglife, Sunshine Committee, Beads for Needs, and Cupcakes for Causes. She is currently the President of the Sunshine Committee. A fun fact about Ava is that she has a carousel at her house; she has a button maker, and she is afraid of spiders. Her advice to the younger students is, “Don’t put un-microwavable things in a microwave.” When asked what three words Ava would use to describe herself, she said, “creative, funny, honest.” Her favorite thing about Ascension is her friends and teammates. In Ava’s free time, she likes to make jewelry and buttons. She also loves to eat ice cream, travel, and scroll through TikTok.
