Favorite Ascension Memory: Getting trapped in an elevator with Coach McCullough during the Junior trip

Future plans: Attend LSU and major in biology or kinesiology and then O.T. school or optometry school

Ava Guidry has been involved in tennis for a long time, and she has been playing tennis all 5 years at Ascension and is co-captain of the team. She is also a member of Beta and National Honor Societies. She loves to play tennis, workout, paint, watch LSU football, and spend time with friends. Her favorite thing about Ascension is the small classes which allow for a more personal learning experience. She would like to be remembered as loyal, a good listener, and creative during her time here at Ascension. She can solve the Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes. Some advice for younger students is to make it a goal to talk to everyone and to make as many connections as possible. She added, “You will be a senior before you know it!” A motto she likes to live by is “people won’t remember what you said but they will remember the way you make them feel.”
