This week marks the 5th week of this year’s football season, and we are off to a 2-2 start. At this point, there is a lot of optimism building for the future of the 2023 season. With 2 wins at this point in the season, the Blue Gators are off to a much better start than we were last year as at this point we were 0-4. Although we suffered a rough loss last week too Breaux Bridge on homecoming, the Blue Gators are ready to bounce back and answer with a win this week at West St. John and potentially even take the regular season to an 8-2 finish. Starting tight end Evan Brown says that he feels confident about our ability to finish the season strong and believes that we could be real playoff contenders. However, all of this success will only be possible with a combined effort from fans and players together so students are urged to make the drive out to West St. John to support the team.
