Favorite Ascension memory: Reverend Kennedy’s whole Western Civ class was so fun, and I learned a lot, too.

Future plans: I want to be a professor when I grow up so I can do paid research and teach at the same time. I’ll also probably publish a couple of books just for fun.

Chloe Ste. Marie participates in many Ascension activities, varying from the Speech and Debate team to her appearances on stage in Ascension’s annual theater productions. In her spare time, Chloe loves to express herself through diverse creative outlets like singing, drawing, reading, and writing. Chloe describes herself as goofy, smart, and passionate, words that sum up her personality very well. She also says her favorite thing about Ascension is ”how involved students are with school spirit”, how they participate in the pep rallies, making any and all student-led activities so fun. Chloe has also done many unique things in her life so far; for example, she once ate a whole lemon, skin and all, for five dollars and spent those five dollars on a second lemon. As her piece of advice, Chole also wants to tell younger students no to worry so much about fitting in, or what other people think of you. Everyone is too preoccupied with themselves to ACTUALLY care about your flaws. Your people will naturally gravitate towards you when you feel good about yourself and show your confidence!
