Name: Alex Caillier
Grade Started: 8th Grade
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Shome
Favorite Ascension Memory: Junior Trip, when Dylan Lapoint fell off his scooter and had to go to the hospital.
Future Plans: To attend UL and hopefully study business.
During Alex’s five years at Ascension, he was on the varsity baseball team for four years, and he played tennis during his 8th grade year. He wants me to add that he is an undefeated tennis player at Ascension: “1-0.” During his junior year, Alex was the vice president for Cupcakes for Causes. He says, “My favorite thing about Ascension is Study Hall.”
In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his buddies and playing sports. He thinks of himself as a very funny and joyful person. He is “the goofiest goober.” A fun fact about Alex is that there is a permanent slice on his chest from baseball practice when he was running to get a ball and ran into the fence. He would like to add that the baseball team beat Catholic High in the District tournament.
Alex’s advice to the underclassman is “have fun.”
