Favorite Ascension Memory: Performing with her best friend, Ephraim, for his last show of Mean Girls.

Future Plans: To attend Baldwin Wallace for Musical Theater.

During Winnie’s ten years at Ascension, she was on the Varsity Swim Team, a Class Leader for two of her years, National English Honor Society, participated on the Rally team (winning two years in a row), and participated in the school musicals all four years. Winnie is a part of CYT and is currently in the musical Beauty and The Beast. She says, “I love how welcoming everyone is at Ascension and that you can participate in anything you want here, there are so many options of extracurricular.” 

In her free time she enjoys singing, hanging out with her friends, and performing. She enjoys that she has a whole other “world” outside of school with her CYT and other acting friends. She thinks of herself as very outgoing, funny, and creative. A fun fact about Winnie is, she was recently awarded Best Actress in Acadiana.

Winnie’s advice to the underclassmen is “Nothing matters as much as you think it does. Be yourself and outgoing, that’s going to get you much farther than worrying about what people think of you.”
