During Eliana’s time at Ascension, she has been Vice President of the Sunshine Committee Club, the Captain of the Varsity Softball team for 3 years, and she has been a member of Beta, National Honors Society, National English Honors Society, Rho Kappa Society, Science National Honors Society, and Cupcakes For Causes. In her free time, she enjoys reading, in fact, she read 150 books this past year. She also enjoys watching TV shows, playing softball, hanging out with friends, accompanying her father at Evangeline Downs, and enjoys attending LifeTeen at her Catholic Church. When asked what is something that no one knows about her, she said, ”I don’t really know, I’m pretty much an open book.” When asked to describe herself in three words, she says that she’s “funny, honest, and kind.” Her favorite thing about Ascension is that it is like her second home since she’s been a part of the Blue Gator family for 15 years, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Her role model is her mother because she aspires to be just like her when she grows up.
Her advice to the younger students is that you just got to do it. Also, she says to read a lot because it will apparently raise your ACT score.
