Favorite Ascension Memory: All the school dances, but she says her favorite is the Back to School Bash from this year. 

Future Plans: To attend LSU and hopefully go into healthcare.

During Jeanne-Claire’s 14 years at Ascension, she was on the cheer team for 4 years as well as their competition team for senior year. This year, Jeanne-Claire is a leader in SADD, as well as a prefect, and she is also a member of the Beta Club, and the National Honor Society. She says, “I love the community at Ascension, everyone is like family here.” 

In her free time she enjoys reading, hanging out with her friends and her little sister Laura-Anne, and shopping. She thinks of herself as a very outgoing and fun person, as well as a very organized and driven student. A fun fact about Jeanne-Claire is she is the school record holder for saying the Apostles’ Creed in under 10 seconds…ask Coach Trotter, she says. 

Jeanne-Claire’s advice to the underclassmen is “Be confident and don’t second guess yourself. High school flies by fast to put yourself out there, stay involved, and be true to who you are.”
