I have been waiting for this day for 14 years! This is officially my last year at Ascension. Being a senior is not as easy as I thought, 9 months from now I wont see these people everyday. But anyways, we started off the morning at the Franques and Ortemond house with a grade breakfast. Lots of pictures were taken and there were a lot of smiles. The teachers welcomed us at school with open arms and lots of energy. I never thought I’d be excited for school. After the first day, we had BSLS at Gabby’s house! We had a cute basket and a super cute poster, except for the part where on the poster I accidentally wrote the names of the big sisters for the little sisters on the back so she knew who her bigs were…whoops! I ruined the surprise. Other than that, I had so much fun swimming and hanging out with my little sister and her friends. Friday was the Back To School Dance, and usually everyone leaves right when the doors open, but this time it was different, and everyone stayed until we had to start cleaning up! The DJ was fun, the outfits were cute, and everyone seemed to have a great time. This year is already off to a great start, and I’m so excited for the school year.
