Faculty Spotlight: Coach McCullough
I recently interviewed Coach McCullough to find out a little more about him. Here are his answers to my questions!
- What made you choose to teach? I wanted to coach so I became a teacher.
- How long have you been teaching? 43 years.
- What was your favorite school to teach at? Ascension Episcopal.
- If you weren’t teaching History what subject would you teach? Physical Education.
- What’s your favorite History section to teach? American History.
- How long have you been teaching at Ascension? 9 Years.
- How long have you been a coach? 45 years.
- What is your favorite sport to coach? Football and Baseball, I like them both the same.
- What is your favorite sport to watch? Football.
- What do you love about working at Ascension? The great students here.
- What’s your favorite memory from Ascension? The state championships in football and baseball.
- Why do you love your camp so much? Nice and quiet and a lot of wildlife.
- What was your most memorable baseball game? The 2 state championship games.
- What are your plans for next year? To be back at Ascension.
- What is your favorite song? My Way by Frank Sinatra.
- Favorite color? Green.
- Favorite food? Mexican.
- Favorite movie? Braveheart.
- Hobbies? Hunting.
- If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Dry Prong, LA.

Hey, y'all! My name is Greta Leoni, and I am a senior this year. I have been at Ascension since Pre-K3 and during those 15 years, I have been a part of the cheer, basketball, and volleyball teams. I also have been a part of clubs such as Cupcakes for Causes and Beads for Needs while at Ascension. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, watching movies, and shopping.
