The Expendables, directed by Sylvester Stallone, is an action movie fan’s dream.

The movie stars some of the most famous action celebrities from both the past and present, including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolp Lungren, Randy Couture, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke and cameos by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis.

The story follows Stallone and Statham’s rag tag group of mercenaries known as The Expendables, who do the most dangerous missions because no one would care if they died, hence their name.

The team follows Stallone in a mission to save a woman named Sandra (Gisele Itie) and to overthrow the vicious dictator Garza (David Zayas). The movie is under no circumstance a work of art, but it is probably one of the best action movies I have seen in a long time. Like I said in the beginning, this movie has a dream team of action stars and plenty of explosions and fight scenes to back it up. Overall, if you are looking for a good action movie, check this one out. I give this movie four stars out of five.
